Designed for focus.
TextPack exists because turning plain text into a good-looking document shouldn't require a word processor, a cloud account, or ten minutes of formatting.
How It Works
Press ⌘⇧T to open the TextPack dashboard, pick a template, and export as PDF, Markdown, or Plain Text. Or skip the dashboard: ⌘⇧S converts and saves, ⌘⇧E converts and shares, ⌘⇧O opens the result in the built-in editor. Everything runs on your Mac — no internet needed.
Why TextPack Exists
A lot of people write in plain text — developers, writers, lawyers, students. But when you need to share something as a formatted document, you end up opening a word processor, pasting, adjusting fonts and margins, and exporting. TextPack skips all of that. One shortcut, and your text is a document.
About the Creator
Maksym Bardakh is a Software Engineer who builds macOS apps. He made TextPack because he kept running into the same problem — needing a quick, clean PDF from plain text without the overhead of a full word processor.
Privacy Commitment
TextPack doesn't collect anything. There's no telemetry, no analytics, no network requests, and no account system. Your documents stay on your Mac — nothing gets sent anywhere.
